Hourly Rate/Salary: 135k

Job Summary: 

A mission driven organization with a very competitive benefits package is currently seeking a Director of Donor Relations to drive fundraising strategy, donor relations, Foundation Board management, and major events to secure philanthropic support and advance organizational goals.

• Developing and implementing strategies for individual, institutional, and planned giving support

• Cultivating donor relationships, securing new funding sources, and overseeing stewardship efforts

• Managing the Foundation Board, including recruitment, meeting facilitation, and fundraising initiatives

• Leading major fundraising events, including the annual gala, donor recognition events, and corporate engagement activities

• Collaborating with internal teams to align fundraising efforts with organizational goals

Hours: M-F 9:00am-5:00pm - hybrid

Job Summary: 

A NYC-based mission driven social services organization that runs a very large network of domestic violence and homeless shelters is currently seeking a VP of Development to join their team. This is a newly created role, due to growth, that will manage a team of 7-8 people. 

The VP of Development will be reporting into the Chief Development & Marketing Officer. It plays a pivotal role in executing the organization's fundraising strategy. This multifaceted position involves overseeing grant writing, event fundraising, foundation relations, individual giving, in-kind giving, and volunteer engagement. Seeking a seasoned leader with a strong background in institutional giving to spearhead this effort. In addition to guiding the development team, the Vice President will personally focus on donor cultivation, particularly within the Economic Empowerment Program, while also managing brand partnerships.
