Hours: M-F - alternating weekends and holidays

Hourly Rate/Salary: 128k-165k

Job Summary: 

We currently have a Laboratory Supervisor opening with a large health system in Westchester County available.

The Laboratory Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and directing all activities of the Chemistry and Immunology laboratories to achieve maximum quality of testing and compliance with all requirements by regulatory agencies. 

• Assures the delivery of quality department /clinical services in accordance with the hospital and regulatory/accreditation agency standards.

• Assures employee compliance with policies and procedures

• Attends Management/Leadership meetings as scheduled/required and communicates hospital policies, performance improvement initiatives and all other required information to their staff.

• Responsible for participation in committees, task forces and projects as appropriate.

• Assures the provision of a safe employee/patient environment.

• Maintains knowledge related to the operations of their department.

• Works collaboratively with all levels of the hospital interdisciplinary team and promotes the team concept within their department and hospital wide.

• All other related duties as assigned.

Hours: M-F 9:00am-5:00pm

Hourly Rate/Salary: 140k-155k

A hospital in the Bronx is hiring a full time Pathologist Assistant for the Day shift. Candidates should be prepared to thrive in a lab environment while receiving mentorship from expert Pathologists.

The Pathologist Assistant will handle:

• Gross description and dissection of surgical tissue

• Performing a wide variety of Histology processes

• Tumor procurement and case set-up

• Gross imaging of patient specimens

• Mentoring and educating staff
