Job Summary:
A nonprofit organization in New York City is currently seeking experienced professionals to join their staff in Manhattan as their new Assistant Director of Programs (MSW, LMSW, or LCSW) Transitional Housing. Reporting to the Program Director, the Assistant Director, Programs will be responsible for supporting the 24/7 operations, including overseeing clinical and case management services.
The Assistant Director of Programs will:
Manage social service delivery including program oversight, staff supervision, and training
Liaison with external stakeholders including service partners, government representatives, community stakeholders, hospital personnel, and other agencies to ensure responsive and effective service planning and program operations
Attend relevant meetings required by the Department of Homeless Services
Provide clinical and operational direction and leadership to the program; help troubleshoot, problem solve, and strategize solutions around client engagement and challenging behaviors
Promote a staff and resident culture that emphasizes housing placement as a measurement of success; ensure that clients are ready for housing placement
Oversee development and implementation of individual service plans; ensure documentation of client contact and progress is comprehensive and timely manner

Job Summary:
A nonprofit organization in New York City is currently seeking an experienced professional (LMSW or MSW) to join their staff in Manhattan as their new Program Director, Outreach. Reporting to the Senior Program Director, the Program Director will be responsible for responsible for 24/7 outreach and housing placement work with the goal of moving people off the street and into transitional and permanent housing.
The Program Director will:
Oversee a team of 50-60 staff in a 24/7 program and is responsible for outreach and housing placement activities including special operations and joint initiatives with city agencies and other stakeholders; targeted initiatives to expedite housing placement and other interventions; follow-up with clients placed in transitional housing as well as those remaining on the street
Supervise Assistant Program Directors, Housing and Reporting Specialist, Operations Specialist, Housing Specialist, and Office Manager
Develop outreach and engagement strategies to identify areas where individuals are staying on the street and provide services to support these individuals
Ensure high quality service delivery by supporting best practice interventions with street homeless populations, collaborating with on-site psychiatric/street medicine team, and providing crisis intervention, including 958 removals and risk assessments
Responsible for program outcome measures and performance targets and utilize management tools and data to create systems of accountability to ensure performance measures are achieved

Bilingual Lead Clinician

Job Summary:
A great social services organization in NYC is currently seeking a Bilingual Lead Clinician to join their team in the Bronx, NY.
The Lead Clinician (LMHC, LMFT, LMSW, or LCSW) is responsible for the oversight and execution of all therapeutic and case management requirements for the shelter and foster care programs the serve unaccompanied children in immigration custody who are awaiting release to their sponsors.
Represents the organization's mission, values and ethics; upholds agency Code of Conduct; and ensures adherence to agency policy and procedures by clinical staff.
Provides supervision and support to clinicians via individual sessions, staff meetings and in-house trainings.
Monitors staff fulfillment of caseload assignments.
Approves timecards of clinical staff and addresses any changes in clinical staff schedules.
Performs initial intake and assessment for safety and trafficking concerns within 48 hours of each childs arrival as needed.
Provides weekly individual counseling to children and ongoing crisis intervention as needed.
Provides mental health referrals as needed.
Coordinates clinical services.
Participates in the hiring and training process for newly hired clinical staff.
Develops group counseling as needed.
Participates in weekly team meetings to provide mental health and educational updates.
Revise and edit clinical staff progress notes and reports
Regularly assesses the safety and well-being of all children.
Ensures quality and excellence in service provision.
Participate in a rotating on-call schedule with management team members.
Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal rules and regulations, as well as funder’s requirements.
Become certified to facilitate trainings in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) for all employees.
